My Favourite Wine: Rebecca Marshall

This "Saw 3D" and "Party Down" actress enjoys pinot noir and Spanish white wines

My Favourite Wine: Rebecca Marshall

Rebecca Marshall was born and raised in Toronto and knew that she wanted to be an actress from a young age. Marshall got her start in musicals and music videos, and has appeared in "Saw 3D," "The West Wing," "Big Shots," "CSI: Miami" and "Party Down."

When she is not working, you can find Marshall travelling, reading, writing and developing everydayenvironment.com to give people a voice about what we are doing to our planet. She heads up Moxie Lady Productions and enjoys playing softball and tennis.

Q: Do you have a favourite wine? Why?

I am always open to trying different wines. The one I drink most often is pinot noir, but my favorite red wines are from the French regions. I am getting more into white wines. After taking a trip to Spain I learned to enjoy white wines so much. I was in Barcelona for a week and in that time I tasted some of the most amazing white wines ever. I prefer a bold, fruity flavor when it comes to white wines and light, medium-bodied, dry when it comes to red.

Q: Do you have any favourite memories that involve wine?

I was in Paris after a day of seeing fabulous art and sat in this little bistro with my boyfriend and drank a fabulous bottle of French red wine, discussing seeing some of the most amazing paintings in the world and watching the sun go down.

Q: If you could share a bottle of wine with anyone in the world, who would it be?

Great question. That's a tough one. I've had the pleasure of doing this with so many amazing people around the world that for me it's all about the company you surround yourself with and great conversation. That being said it would be really cool to share a bottle of wine with Oprah.
