Recipe: Vineland Shrimp Burger

Recipe: Vineland Shrimp Burger

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and de-veined
  • 2 tbsp Vineland Estates Chardonnay Musqué
  • 1 tsp chopped chives
  • 1 tbsp chopped marjoram
  • Zest of 1 lemon, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

In a food processor, purée the shrimp, and the wine. Transfer to a bowl and add remaining ingredients. Salt and pepper to taste.

Heat a small frying pan, and cook off a small piece of the shrimp mixture. This allows you to see if you would like to add any more seasonings before forming the rest into burgers.

Cook on a pre-heated barbeque to desired doneness.

Serve on a bun with tartar sauce and all of your favourite fixings. The most important thing to accompany this great dish is a glass of cold chardonnay musqué!

Serves about 4, depending on the size of your burger.
