New York Mets pitcher Chris Young has found his zone.

Specifically, he found a $12,000-a-month, two-bedroom, 2½-bathroom apartment at the Lucida, at 151 E. 85th St., where he is renting. The unit has 10-foot ceilings — and floor-to-ceiling windows — for the 6-foot-10 Young.

While no two-bedrooms are currently available for sale in the building, if Young is interested in a more permanent residence, a three-bedroom is currently on the market for $3.575 million. Building amenities include a La Palestra fitness center.

Meat and greet

Celeb chef Todd English and gourmet meat marketer Mark Pastore, of Pat LaFrieda Wholesale Meat Purveyors, are neighbors. They both live at the Beatrice, a rental development atop the Eventi hotel at 835 Sixth Ave., and they didn’t even know it until they ran into each other in the elevator. That was the buzz at Gilt City’s party to welcome Lee Brian Schrager as its chief lifestyle consultant.

Combo mambo

Why just have one trophy TriBeCa penthouse when you can have two?

Hedge-funder James Flynn and his wife, Kerianne, have bought Alexis Stewart’s penthouse at 27 North Moore St. for $8.6 million and are planning to combine it with the adjacent penthouse that they already own in the building. The three-bedroom, 3½-bathroom penthouse that they just purchased from Martha Stewart’s daughter is 3,884 square feet and was most recently listed at $9.5 million. The Flynns’ other penthouse is 3,642 square feet and was purchased for $4.45 million in 2003.

Broker Dolly Lenz of Prudential Douglas Elliman, who had Stewart's listing, could not be reached for comment.

Making do with Hess

Call it a nice place to cool your Jets. Margaret Hess Friedland (granddaughter of Hess oil founder and former New York Jets owner Leon Hess) and her husband, Michael Yong-Ahn Chi, just scored a big prewar co-op at 130 E. 67th St. for just under $6 million. The duplex has four bedrooms, 2½ bathrooms and four fireplaces.

Oh. My. Saud.

The former rental home of Saudi prince Faisal Al Saud is now for sale — for a king’s ransom of $8.7 million.

The 15th-floor, 3,000-square-foot condo at 45 W. 67th St. has five bedrooms and 3½ bathrooms. It includes a 1,120-square-foot landscaped terrace with an outdoor kitchen, outdoor shower, electric grill and a bar with a beer tap (we assume you have to provide your own beer). The apartment — a three-unit combo — also has a marble foyer, a living room with floor-to-ceiling windows and great views of Central Park.

Nest Seeker brokers Ryan Serhant and Silvette Julian declined to comment. Perhaps they were too busy filming; the apartment, we hear, will be featured on Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing.”

R&Booyakasha

Sacha Baron Cohen and Usher might not have a lot in common, but the married Ali G. and Borat actor and divorced R&B musician seem to share similar tastes.

Gimme Shelter has been chronicling both of their searches for rental homes in the $25,000-a-month range. Now our spies have spotted the high-profile men at separate showings of the same apartment at 169 Hudson St. — a classic three-bedroom, 3½-bathroom, 3,752-square-foot rental in TriBeCa’s Roebling Building. (Cohen came with one assistant; Usher came with two.)

The $24,500-a-month unit is a full floor and comes with a private keyed elevator. The home has fun entertaining spaces, including a concealed bar and a media room.

Corcoran Group listing broker Heather Cook didn’t return our calls.

We hear . . .

That Drew Barrymore might want to pop by Capo Auction’s second Steinway mansion auction on April 30 to pick up an antique wood and brass trunk that her grandfather, acting legend John Barrymore, left at the mansion in Queens. He had been a frequent houseguest there and left the trunk behind before William Steinway sold the mansion to the Halberian family around 1930.
