Name change will hurtI very much appreciated Dave Newhouse's column of the mastheads that have graced the Oakland Tribune.He wrote, "When I covered the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles, I signed up as 'The Tribune.  
 
 
Enough is enoughWe have hundreds of politicians in Washington D.C. and other political offices throughout the U.S., who day after day, month after month pull each other apart and criticize each other's thoughts on what, or who, is right or wrong.  
 
 
Our kids firstTom Meyer's cartoon in the Aug. 28 edition of the Hayward Daily Review was right on; "Why should Californian's subsidize higher education for more kids who aren't ours?
