Los Angeles - Linda Christian, a former Hollywood starlet who was best known for portraying the first Bond girl in the legendary spy series, has died at age 87 after suffering colon cancer, People.com reported Monday. Christian, who was married to Hollywood leading man Tyrone Power from 1949-56, starred as Vesper Lynd, superspy James Bond's romantic interest in the 1954 TV adaptation of author Ian Fleming's novel Casino Royale.
