Fruit Power
SEEDKIT
|
|
Fruit Power is a one- to two-hour workshop that helps students learn about electricity. They will build a battery using a lemon, as well as experimenting with other fruits and vegetables.
SEEDKITS can be used in many ways. The activities in a SEEDKIT are brief enough for you to conduct a half-day school workshop. The initial activity may even raise questions from students that will generate ideas for more workshops that can be done at a later time.
If you want to conduct a collaborative workshop a SEEDKIT can be one of the different activities of the event. For example, a workshop on energy can include the Fruit Power activities. Health and safety workshops can involve the Malaria SEEDKIT. Connected Wisdom may be used to add a systems understanding perspective to a workshop on any theme.
In this way, the scope of the SEEDKIT naturally grows.
Alternatively, you could run a brief School Workshop using a SEEDKIT. In this case, the initial activity will very likely raise questions from students and generate ideas for more activities that can be done at a later time. In this way, the scope of the SEEDKIT naturally grows.
