Drummer Rob Bourdon told LAUNCH that the band doesn't pick the single releases, but they're confident not only in "Faint," but in all the songs off Meteora. "We work very hard on every song," Bourdon said. "We make sure that every song is a good one. And it's worthy of being on the album. So, in a sense they're like our children and we love all of them equally. We make an album that we like every song so much that we don't care which one they pick to go out, you know?"
Linkin Park was on the Summer Sanitarium tour with Metallica, and now they'll be appearing with them for a show in Ireland on Wednesday (August 20). The band will then play the Reading And Leeds festivals later this month in the U.K. before embarking on a more extensive overseas tour in the fall.
