Enjoyed at Highlight , Watford, at the start of the month. Very confident and very funny.

Karl, June 2011

Steve's material, I've thought, has come on leaps and bounds. A couple of years ago I thought he was trading on his persona too much but lately whenever I've seen him the lines have been sharper and well observed. Very good.

Steve McBride, September 2009

I saw Steve a couple of years ago and although he had charm and authority on the stage, his material was weak. He has obviously worked very hard as his show contains a fantastic blend of observations and personal stories. I was privileged to be in a small audience who saw him in Swindon recently and would say that he is nearing the end of the journey to being the complete comedian.

Tim Saint, July 2009

I saw him at The Riverfront, Newport in November 2008. Thought he was very very good. Not much bad language and no crudeness. Would go and see him again.

Deb, November 2008

I saw him in Bimingham Glee Club a couple of months ago - very very funny - better than all the comedians put together. Looking forward to him coming back to Birmingham again

Gemma, October 2008

Tim, Tunbridge Wells (with a U), September 2007

Steve Williams is possibly at his best as a compere. He improvises on nothing and is consistently not only funny, but surreal and very much himself all the time. I've been impressed with him from the first time that I ever worked alongside him in Shepherd's Bush. He deserves to go far! The last time I thought similar things about a compere, the up and coming comedian compering that night was called Eddie Izzard.

Earl Okin, March 2007

I'm really surprised by all the negative comments. I saw Steve in Putney last night and he was very very funny. His act is laid back to the point of you questioning his sobriety but his brilliant put-downs shows he's a very quick thinker. Quality material, quality ad libs - go see this guy.

Rob, February 2007
