The Attorney General of Wyoming is the chief legal officer for the state of Wyoming. In Wyoming, the State Attorney General is in charge of accepting or denying the petition for a ballot question but, unlike most states, the secretary of state is in charge of the language of the ballot question.

The current officeholder is Bruce A. Salzburg.

Campaign finance

The Attorney General of Wyoming is responsible for handling all disciplinary manners towards campaign finance law violations. The Attorney General's office handles all campaign finance complaints and handles all related prosecution towards complaints regardless if it involves civil or criminal laws. [1]
