Don't write this of as horrible cash-in just yet! High Moon Studios, the developers of War for Cybertron, are behind this! So is "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" more than meets the eye? (Yeah I know, lame pun...)

High Moon's "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" is for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Don't get it mixed up with the Nintendo one.

Good review. I loved War for Cybertron but wasn't sure what this one was like. Glad that this VGR seemed fair ^^

There's a Robotech panel at the AnimeExpo this weekend.  Hopefully it'll give us some news of the movie that's been stuck in limbo for the last few years.

They just told me that the writers are still working on a script and basiclly that it will be done when it's done, at least that is what they told me at A-kon, shortly after this I went to go watch repo, then quickly drank a bottle of mescal down to the worm, ate the worm and wondered around til I got in the Brentalfoss Q and A, enjoyed the **** out of that, asked him when he's going to make some more berrics, told him he was freaking great and handed him a 50$ bill to make some more beerics and continued my drunken jourey else where at the con.

The question isn't whether the movie is going to suck but if it is going to be worse than Revenge of the fallen which would be amazing if it was. XD. Hehe moom.

I actually heard it's an improvement. Like, comparable to the first film, which was hit-or-miss but not flat out ****.

Cool, that gives me hope because I thought the 1st one wasn't that bad. It's just there were so many things wrong and uneccessary about ROTF like devestator having testicles. XD

I say a least see the first one it's worth a watch, for fans of action or transformers.

Just look at James review:                                                       http://cinemassacre.com/2007/07/18/transformers-2007/

So a cash-in game about a cash-in movie about a cash-in cartoon about toys.
Just follow the money, boys.

Well although you're right about all points, for a cash-in cartoon it wasn't bad and later they realised their full potential with series like Best Wars but now that we know it can be more then that, they just decide to be a cash-in and make transformers guest stars in their own movie. This is Shia Labeouf: The Adventure.

There's such a thing as a good cash in and a bad cash in.

Exactly and the Micheal Bay movies aren't and the recent game could have been far better but they had to tie it with the movies. With them realistic looks, no look, only the first series looked like the robots were made of cardboaxes and the cameos in Beast Wars, War for Cybertron found the perfect balance. In the movies they look like scrap heaps, besides Opyimus, Bumblebee and Megatron and even then the rest don't even look like what they should, WHY IS RATCHET GREEN AND NOT RATCHET?!

I did somewhat enjoy War for Cybertron, however I couldn't help but feel like the MP component was waaaaayyyyy too Call of Duty. Seeing this review I can't help but feel like this is simply another attempt to line Activision's pockets. Until the company introduces something new and interesting to gaming I am done with Activision. Anybody else have the same bad taste in their mouth?

What? no,it was a little cod with custom loadout and killstreak's and even a spin on gears horde mode but that was a reasonable move considering what's popular in online focused shooter's i really like WFC's MP i even prefer it to COD. besides it's pretty awesome to instantly turn your custom soldier into a jet on a whim, and you can't do that in COD.
