Next Tueday marks the one year anniversary of the death of Brandon Crisp.
The 15 year old from Barrie was the subject of a massive police search over three weeks after he left his east end home on a bike October 13th after an argument with his parents over playing X-box.
Brandon's body was found by hunters in a wooded area north of the city.
An autopsy revealed he died of severe chest trauma after a fall from a tree.
Brandon's parents issued a statement today thanking the community for their ongoing compassion.
The Brandon Crisp Endowment and the Canadian Tire Jumpstart program has raised over 140-thousand dollars in the last year to help underprivileged kids get into sports.
