Call of Duty: World at War - beta client, reporting for duty
As some of you may have noticed - we've now got the Call of Duty: World at War Beta client on the mirror, ready for you to download. Weighing in at 845MB, the client will provide access to beta servers, and a number of the features which will be included with the full game when it launches in Australia on the 12th of November.

Developed by Treyarch, Call of Duty: World at War sees the CoD series return to a World War 2 setting, utilising the same engine as Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The beta features three maps - Castle, Makin, and Roundhouse. All game modes will be available and the level cap will be set to 40.

We've got the file ready to download, (un-metered data for Internode customers) but you'll need to go to the Call of Duty Headquarters and sign up there in order to gain access to a beta key, which will allow you to play in the beta. Once you've done that, download the client, and you'll be able to play after installing!

We're currently working on getting some servers up (three are available at the moment) and will keep you updated as we add more.

For more information on the beta, check out our previous coverage. Call of Duty: World at War will launch in Australia on the 12th of November, and will be available for the PC, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360. A DS and Wii version will follow later, on the 26th of November.
