If you're in the Windy City for C2E2 -- Chicago's Comic & Entertainment Expo that runs from March 18-20 at the West Building at McCormick Place, here are some of the Star Wars events you may want to catch.
Convention Events
501st Opens The Show Floor
C2E2 opens to the public at 1 PM on Friday, March 18th. Be sure to be there at 1 sharp, as members of the 501st Midwest Garrison will lead the march into the convention on its first day.
LucasArts Games in the C2E2 Gaming Hall
C2E2 has a score of Xbox 360s and a library of games from LucasArts, Activision, Ubisoft, EA, and more, and you can play them any day, all day in the Console Freeplay (CFP) Room. Part of our massive Gaming Hall (375a), stop on by solo or play games with up to three of your friends. LucasArts games available in the library: LEGO Indiana Jones, The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes, The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition, The Force Unleashed II, and Fracture,.
501st Droid Hunt
The Midwest Garrison is a chapter of The 501st Legion, a world-wide Star Wars Imperial costuming club. The 501st is dedicated to recreating the movie-quality costumes of the "villains" of the Star Wars universe. Through the 501st, a little bit of a galaxy far, far away is touching down in Chicago. Come out to The Midwest Garrison booth on the C2E2 show floor on Saturday to get a Droid Hunt badge and wear it proudly around your neck. Members of the 501st will be patrolling the convention, looking for droids, and if you have your badge confiscated by the 501st member during the game, hurry back to the Midwest Garrison booth after 5:01 PM on Saturday to see if you're a winner.
