A male pole dancer has sparked a falling out between “America’s Got Talent” judges Piers Morgan and Sharon Osbourne.

Morgan — who has often had a soft spot for attractive female contestants — told The Post he was unlikely to vote for New Yorker Steven Retchless next Tuesday night because the act is “weird for guys to watch.”

“I am not really into male pole dancers,” he said. “It is not my kind of act. Having said that, he is obviously very good at it. He is very talented. I would just personally rather watch a woman do that — which is probably quite sexist, but it is true.”

Osbourne blasted Morgan’s comments as “homophobic.”

“He is so bloody uptight! Piers is the type that probably wears stockings under his suit,” she told The Post. “It wouldn’t surprise me if he had suspenders and fishnets on.”

Retchless, 24, is the current American Pole Fitness champion.

“The difference between me and other pole dancers is that I do have a dance background,” he says. “That is something I bring to the competition. I am trying to bring a different dance form with each round.”

Originally from Las Vegas, he moved to Manhattan in 2009 and supplements the rent by helping East Side fitness buffs channel their inner Pussycat Doll at Body and Pole on Fifth Avenue.

“The obvious misconception is that this is only done in clubs where women take their clothes off for money,” he says. “When I first stated pole dancing, my favorite part was being sexy and letting your inner inhibitions go.”

Retchless oozed confidence at “AGT’s” New York auditions, sporting tight, silver short shorts, high heels and body paint.

Retchless needs America’s vote to advance closer to the show’s $1 million grand prize.

“If he can persuade enough Americans who may share my view, and if he can get past that barrier,” Morgan concedes, “he has got a chance.”
