The Super Bowl is unquestionably the winner of the most important annual event in Las Vegas that never takes place here. Room rates will rise for the weekend of the game and more money will be bet on it than on any other sporting event. People who usually never bet on sports get swept up in the hubbub and wind up placing huge wagers they regret. Anyway, with this in mind, I contacted, Anthony Curtis, the savvy expert who looks out for the gambling consumer with his "Las Vegas Advisor" newsletter, to see if there were useful tips for betting on the Super Bowl. Of course, there are but sadly, it is a bit complicated to easily summarized. However, Curtis pointed me to this post by his sports betting expert that offers a basic strategy of 14 steps of advice on how be smart with your Super Bowl bet. My favorite step is the final strategy, and remember folks these are the words of a first class expert on how to place a sports bet: "It's just one game. Don't overbet it! Enjoy the game and don't bet so much that your weekend's happiness is contingent on winning your wager(s)."

T.O. to Party at Pure

Terrellowens_iqf919kn Terrell Owens has been hired to host the Super Bowl party at Pure Nightclub in Caesars on Friday, February 3. The press release refers to Owens as an "NFL star." I am certainly no expert in football, but isn't he more like an unemployed guy?
