Maryland-Eastern Shore won its second national championship -- its first since 2008 -- as the Lady Hawks defeated Vanderbilt 4-2 at the 2011 NCAA Championships in Taylor, Mich.

Maryland-Eastern Shore fell into a hole early, but came back to win three consecutive games to clinch its first national championship since 2008, defeating Vanderbilt on Saturday.

Fairleigh-Dickinson and Nebraska advanced through the winner's bracket and UMES and Vanderbilt advanced in the loser's bracket into the final day of the NCAA Bowling Championship.

The first day of the 2011 Bowling Championship yielded a familiar sight: Fairleigh Dickinson grabbed the No. 1 seed. The championship bracket is now set as play will resume Friday at 9:45 a.m ET.
