As Bill prepares to take to the Saturn stage at the Sonisphere Festival this Sunday night (10 July) sharing a line-up that includes Slayer, Slipknot, Motorhead, and Biffy Clyro we’ve become aware that an online campaign has been initiated by fans who are keen to have Bill appear alongside and performing with some folks called Metallica. Tonight at 8pm on ITV1 and ITV1HD you can see Bill Bailey’s Baboons. It’s a series of 8.

In July Bill will bring his inimitable performance – which historically has featured musical delights ranging from an Emo inspired song to his own interpretation of Slayer - for Sonisphere’s first ever outdoor comedy set, and the largest live comedy performance ever to be hosted at a Rock festival in the UK.

Set to headline the Saturn Arena stage on the Sunday night, Bill comments, “I am utterly stoked to be playing Sonisphere alongside some of my heroes of metal. Unleash the Wild Dogs of Rock!”
