Emerging from a process of prayer, reflection and thoughtful consideration over a period of years, by clergy and lay members at all levels of the Episcopal Church, five funding areas have been identified as means of advancing the Church’s worldwide mission priorities. The five Funds of the Mission Funding Initiative are individual but related vehicles. Together, these five Funds seek to ensure the Church’s ability to serve as an effective agent for justice, reconciliation and transformation.

In addition to launching the core five Funds of the Mission Funding Initiative, Mission Funding is conducting the Campaign for the Archives and Mission Research Center. The Mission Funding group has also established the St. Ives Fund to support the Church’s unity and preserve the Church’s heritage.
