Glen Johnson reveals all about the latest game sweeping the England camp.
With the clock ticking down until England’s World Cup opener with USA, FATV took the chance to catch up with Glen Johnson at the team base to get his thoughts ahead of the big kick-off and find out about the latest gamesroom trend to get the players talking.
The Liverpool right-back spoke with Tim Lovejoy at the team's Royal Bafokeng base and revealed all of the squad are now ready to get into action following over three weeks of build-up together.
"We've been here for ten days now and we're just itching to get the games going,” explained Johnson.
"We train at the stadium this evening, so we've got the afternoon to relax and then we head off.
"We might be able to catch the first half of the opening game before we leave for the stadium, so I'm sure all of the boys will be trying to see as much of that as possible.”
Johnson also reveals all about the latest pastime amongst the squad, with ‘golf-darts’ proving to be a popular game in the players’ spare time.
