    This looks like an amazing game......this game is for sure one that i will go out and buy. People that i know that have the game definitely say that the game is pretty awesome game, that it changed the look of grand theft auto series around.....to which this reminds me of grand theft auto but you are the police catching the bad guys.....I'm definitely going to get this game for sure!!!

    After finishing this game i think the review is just about right i might have rated it a little lower for some very boring gameplay but story and presentation is virtually flawless

    I think people were expecting more action, but this looks like an adventure game (like old-school style, Sierra & LucasArts) with some action thrown into the mix.

    This game is about as fun as watching grass grow.. The general retort is well the faces look so real, if you want to see real faces go talk to people. If that takes you outside your comfort zone that is just sad.

    I think this game got such a good review because it is a Rockstar game, had Kevin done this review it gets a ten. Generally speaking I think Carolyn gives the best reviews on this site, and ones that don't seem bias.

    Nice face animations but I'm sort of dissapointed when it comes to the graphics.

    1 down, another one to go!
    just red dead missing on the pc, to make it one of the best gaming years ever, with DA2 (a wee bit disappointing to be honest), mass effect 3, tes skyrim, battlefield 3, etc etc...
    this is going to be a heavy year on my wallet...

    An absolutely brilliant game. One of, if not the best game I've played this year. Love the atmosphere, the cases, the interviews, the expressions and the story.

    Decent review, but lauds the pros of the game while failing to address much of the gameplay issues... this game is more an interactive movie than a game. I appreciated the production values but at the end of the day, the game was meh to play, with little to no replay value. It treats the player as a simpleton where you walk through the admittedly gorgeous world pixel hunting for clues and use little to none of your own analysis to solve crimes... also choices have little to no affect on the game... conversations yes.. overall story no. Does that deserve a 9.0?Rent it or wait. Not worth the 60 bucks.

    This was the best review i've ever seen on gamespot. It was informative of the good points and bad points in a way that suggests rather than insists. It was in depth and covered everything I wanted to know.
    Its nice to see a reviewer taking it a bit more serious, not that I dont enjoy the jokes but im looking at these reviews so I can decide if i want to spend money on the game, not to hear some funny quips and rants which amusing though they are, dont really help my decision.

    Excellent review Ms. Petit. Im looking forward to more of this.

    Great review! I got a good sense of the game's feel. The facial expressions are amazing! On another note, I'm utterly stunned by the insensitivity and general dumbass ignorance of many of these comments. Carolyn has become my favorite reviewer based on how well she articulates her point of view and also because of the great depth of gaming knowledge she brings to the table. Anything else is none of your damn business.

    I can't BELIEVE how closed-minded and ridiculous some of these commenters are. Carolyn did a great job of reviewing the game, offering a wide perspective for gamers to like/dislike aspects of this game.

    Transgendered is what she is, and it doesn't make her any less of a person. She did her job well, and those who disagree are idiots. Get it girl.

    I have nothing against the reviewer. But his voice and delivery is more suited for reading poetry in cafes than reviewing games.

    Gamespot, we play games because we like fun, we don't like to be serious. Write funny. Deliver with energy. We need reviewers who are also entertainers, not scholars.

    Don't get me wrong, if you wanna be a girl, whatever floats your boat is how I look at it. But i'm sorry 'Carolyn', I can't focus on anything you're saying regardless of what you're reviewing. If you wanted to be a video reviewer, couldn't you have just stayed a man, at least on camera? It's impossible to focus.

    great game if you know what to expect. this is NOT high flying action. its basically an interactive movie, but a good one.

    Wow! Those facial expressions are amazing. You can actually read a huge amount of emotional content. I've been waiting for this in video games for a long time.
