    I payed $33.45 on gamemarket wtf are you talking about. Any one still paying 60 bucks for a game at game stop is a tard. What happened to the good old days of RA2 (Rocket Arena) and counter strike and massive mods that are released for free. 90's gaming come back

    I won't pay for that, nor for Kenshi ... if it continues like that, Every caracters in Mk will be avalaible in DLC and so ... what the point to buy MK10 if every caracters are already in Mk9 ... This is really ridiculous. I would be more incline to pay if they offer DLC to get new fatalities, new arenas or fight modes.

    @DeathB2U ....so you think we won't buy it because we can't afford it ....*facepalm* .....look i'm nt some dirt poor dude who can barely pay the bills or some kid who "has to beg your mommy to load more points onto your live account with her credit card" .....those were some really really ignorant statement you made there.....its pretty obvious that you are in a VERY comfortable financial position(why else would tyou post such a comment ) but there are others just like you who can simply see that a $5 price tag is too steep for a girl who was in the game to start with

    I swear there's so many broke-a$$ whiners here. If you can't afford $5 for a downloadable character, then you have bigger problems than devs wanting to turn a buck. That's less than what you pay for a freakin' big mac meal. So you paid $60 for the game... that's what you pay for most games. Had they not come out with any DLC you still would have loved the game. No one is holding a gun to your head saying "buy these extra characters or I pull the trigger". You have the OPTION to buy them or not to buy them. They're not part of the original game, and you already got what you paid for. If you want more, expect to pay for it. Xbox, 3D Realms, Warner Bros... etc all have some things in common... namely that they're looking to make money. They're businesses. That's what they do. That's what they're supposed to do. That's why they exist. If this was charity, the quality of games out there would be dramatically worse. Extra content costs extra money to make. There's operating expenses, wages, etc. So they have to charge enough to make a profit... and enough to give Microsoft their share. Otherwise, they could just allocate the programmers to other PROFITABLE projects. Let's all be honest here. It's not the 5 bucks that you're upset about. It's the fact that you're unemployed, scrounging for enough cash to keep the electricty going so you can still be a gamer... or because you have to beg your mommy to load more points onto your live account with her credit card.

    If fuc{tards would quit spending money on this crap and then say "t's only 5 dollars," maybe developers and publishers would stop trying to a$$ rape those us who want continued value and support for the initial 60 bucks we droped. How about the dev sayin' "thanks for buying our stuff and padding our pockets with millions of dollars on top of the millions we already had from sales over 15 years even when our product was subpar....here, have some free sh!t! But hey, as long as people are spending Mom and Dad's coin instead of there own, the devs are free to do as they wish, but they won't have my money. What a frickin' gimmick to squeez out a few extra buck from the gullible; they are laughin' there a$$es to the bank.

    i have to say even tho mr boon is raping us on the content we should already have the new story direction cyber sub zero, human smoke etc and now scarlet the netherealm team has made fresh, enjoyable and original mortal kombat experience even tho ihavnt played it in a month

    Do they really think i'm going to pay, 20$ to download 4 characters ???? I buy games all the time, and i'm not afraid to spend money........... 5$ a piece ???? Not only they charge for 1 of the most important element into the game , like game characters......... they do it also trying to be extremely greedy !!!!
    They can rip off other people........... for sure not me !!!! Next time i won't even buy a mortal Kombat game.......... This is about a principle........... i won't favor this crap !!!

    Nice. I hope that they deliver all of the characters that weren't included in the game so that I can pay $5 a piece for them. I love spending more money on a game I already bought for content that should already be in it. I can't wait for the opportunity to buy more outfits, skins, fatalitys, and stages too.

    @sn7091 Nothing to be surprised about ... funny how every game for the console is developped on PC, yet almost none of them are released for the PC. It's a loss for the company though - not releasing it for the computer fans/users out there ( me included ).

    Every since I did the new PS3 System update that was required to do today, I’ve been having issues with playing Mortal Kombat. It’s not much of an issue, but the game / fight announcer ” Shao Kahn” doesn’t say certain words during a fight, like “FIGHT!” or “FATALITY!” or “ROUND 2″ or even “Flawless Victory!” It’s like they are skipped during the fight or missed.. it’s weird!

    Does anyone have this issue also?

    One more thing and sorry for the two comments to you but, to answer your question---------------- having in mind she's a creation of shaoh kawh and since she's after quan chi who is still alive at the end of mk9 does anyone knows the awser? well if you get her and play the ladder mode you will see want happens.

    I doubt shes in story mode shes just a playable character in ladder mode, it was only a 71MB download if she was in story mode the down load would been like 2GB cause they would have to change the whole story line and make a whole new story just to add her in their lol yeah like they would do that, so no I dont thank shes in story mode.

    I just got the DLC Skarlet and I like her, she does have a ending on the arcade later and you can see a empty spot were she was chained up in Shao Kahns level, I didnt replay it with a diff. character to see if she is chained back up when not playing as her, but she does handle good better then Kratos anyway. Kratos is slow and sluggish well at lease thats want I thank.

    One more thing it is $4.99 for the DLC and not $1.99 or $2.99 it is $4.99 thats it, I have read some comments here that people are saying its not really $4.99 etc... well it is sorry.

    Actually its not five dollars for all four, it's four for the price of three. And the PS3 has an extra character that in theory counters that one character deal, and that character is EXCLUSIVE to the PS3. Meaning it all works out to the same thing if you buy them all, except PS3 users have an extra character that the 360ers can't.

    The deal hardly seems like something to brag about

    ... Unless you own the 360 version. Just read that WBIE will be introducing a "season pass" a la Rockstar's L.A. Noire. Five dollars up front gets you all four plus some skins. PS3 owners get screwed out of the deal. I wonder how much Microsoft paid for this one...

    No, it's five dollars per. Skarlet is going to be released by herself and cost five dollars. The other three will be made available later and individually.

    @DesFood fraud is when the content is on the disk and then they sell you what you already have paid for.

    And i used "fraud" as a general term but you as a company employee and defendant interpret it as a legal term. And you know by every means these kind of attitudes by companies is a bad practice towards the consumers. Boycott this people!

    So, please tell us, how you already possessed the contents of the dlc and how you were deprived of those.
    Nowhere was it stated in the license agreement when you bhought mk9 that you will also obtain rights on additional contents without paying for them. They never belonged to you, hence nothing could've been taken away from you.

    DLC's are mainly additional services to a games community that are bonded to a certain fee. It is your choice whether to obtain those extra contents or not. No one's forcing you, nor is anyone depriving you of your game experience should you decide not to buy the dlc's.
    Furthermore it goes without saying that DLC's most of the time consist of "cosmetic"
    values such as additional costumes and are never (and should never) hold contents that can shift the game experience.

    people please boycott this DLC, the characters should be in the game in the first place,they charge you 5$ for each which will make 20$ and add the 60$ of the cost of the game and it is 80$.

    THIS IS A FRAUD AND DISRESPECT TOWARDS CONSUMERS!

    Five dollars. For a character that's already in the game!? WHAT THE HELL!? Not only is Skarlet already in there (she's chained up in Shao Khan's arena), so is Kenshi and the unnamed original character that's supposed to be coming (they are randomly fighting on the bridge in the background of the Pit stage).

    Not only that, all these classic costumes were already in there as well. You know, all TWO of them? Pay attention during the opening scenes of the story mode and you'll notice a male and female ninja. They are wearing the MK3 female ninja garb and the males the MK1 clothing (which really looks like MK2 with its quilt pattern).

    I don't mind paying DLC when it's a) good and b) not already on the damn disc! Five dollars just to unlock something that you technically already paid for is insanity. And it won't stop until the vast majority of gamers wake up and smell the B.S. or someone launches a class action lawsuit.
