    Or, it could just be the fact that blood magic is a trope routinely used in fiction with mystical aspects.

    first time I saw I thought it was a derivative character (copy paste from kitana, milena, jade, or even a mix of them)

    Now I must say I am looking forward to play with her. Unique!

    @parrot_of_adun Oh ok. Its just that Skarlets blood powers and the Blood Magic in DA:O is almost exactly the same . But she looks to be alot of fun.

    Armageddon was the last Mortal Kombat game to come out before the most recent. Though, it did come out in 2006, 3 years before DA:O. Not that it matters, really. Either way, it's a cool lookin' thing.

    @parrot_of_adun Yes and reguardles of whare thay took there inspiration of Skarlet from. I know thay whouldent do it if thay dident think it was cool. So i gues you could see it as a tribute to the two Dragon Age: Oregins and That Armageddon thing you mentioned. Not sure i know what that is. Is it a movie, game or somethin else?

    Oh, yeah sorry. Apparently didn't read that very well the first time... But yes, you're right, at least in that the two look very similar (though in DA:O, blood was mostly a source of power rather than a weapon).

    I suppose that depends on whether or not these powers reflect that of the earlier (Armageddon) Skarlet, or if they're brand new. I haven't played Armageddon in a long time so I can't remember...

    @parrot_of_adun You aperently dont understand what i ment. Her powers are blood magic, same as in Dragon Age: Oregins. The two games have nothing in comon exept that Skarlet's powers and the dark magic arts using blood in Dragon Age: Oregins is called Blood Magic also used in the same way as Skarlet is using it. Both games uses blood as magic/power to do sertin things just like the two game use them.

    @Rasputin2011 She's a glitch from mk2 *i think* and the other girl tied up in shao kahns arena.. Cuz of an old rumour that she was a hidden character, they decided to make her playable..

    It's just you, I don't think her character has been around too long, but it's older than the dragon age franchise for sure.

    EDIT: It appears she was only in Armageddon (2006), but was rumored (falsely) to be a secret character in MKII.

    Is it just me that see that thay took there inspiratin for Skarlet from Dargon Age's Blood Magic? But yes she looks like a a fun and interesting character to play with.
