Police in Rosenberg are hoping the public can help them find more than 30 watches stolen from a jewelry store last month.

That's because at least 20 of them have a distinctive mark that makes them stand out: the word "Dostal's" is printed on the face.

The watches were stolen from Dostal's Designs in Fine Jewelry, 940 Third St., during a May 5 burglary. The store is owned by Bill Dostal, a city commissioner in neighboring Richmond.

The stolen designer watches were specially designed for the jewelry store and range in value from $100 to $1,500.

Rosenberg police investigator Tracie Dunn said anyone who may have information that could help police should call 832-595-3700 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-8477.
