This is going to be great. The combat has improved alot, graphics looks awesome, and I heard dungeons are now less repetitive? Sounds really cool and exciting!

one the biggest thing is that it will have mod support and as soon nexus picks it up , some amazing mods will come out for this . Including better textures for the pc

After watching trailers once or twice I usually get bored of them, but this one just remains awesome.
Yeah my hype for this game is definitely growing.
Great now I want to play Morrowind but exams start in 2 days.
But once they're over I'm gonna do some serious gaming.

Daggerfall was great, Oblivion was good, Morrowind was beyond both of those titles. Now comes a new part of the series that introduces enemies we have never fought before, the dragons. In all honestly, from the views of this trailer it looks as if we haven't fought any of them before. The enemies will be more dynamic, and hopefully more dynamic. The world looks beautiful, and the hardware being used to make the game is simply great looking. Definitely hope they can step over the thrilling saga that was known as Morrowind, and add in more things to love about the series as a whole.

Daggerfall is epic, call me insane but to me, currently, Morrowind is the best TES, then comes Daggerfall and only then Oblivion.

A little tip to help the other old-timers like me(and the kids that can handle pre-2000 graphics) make it to 11.11.11. Daggerfall (TES 2) is free for download on the Bethesda and Elder Scrolls sites. For those that haven't the chance to enjoy it yet the land mass is the size of Morrowind and Oblivion put togther and has over 15000( that's right three zeros) locations to explore.

I know this will stir up those who will take this post out of context but here it is! I take it a quite a few ppl do not play the game for its pains taken detailed environment or its many tidbits of side quests and achievements. they tend to rush through a game and say they beat it in in so many hours and it was crap afterwards. To you all I say your lost. Why spend the monies for games such as the Elders Scroll Series and not ENJOY all what it has to offer!?

I didnt know that so many High Fantasy cleches could be cramed into a space of three minuets.

Cynicism aside, it looks fantastic. I loved the concept of Obllivion, but empty enviroments and tons of bugs made it slow (when it worked) and often unplayable. Ill be anxious to see if this one is a little more polished.

@KevinConkilin ummm did u play the same games that i did??... firstly oblivion was released in 2006 and has quite good graphics for its time, this games graphics are well up to and above the standards of modern games. Secondly how on earth are these games boring?! The story stands up to the likes of Lord of the rings, the world is one of the biggest, most detailed i have ever seen in a game, the role-playing involves so much choice its not even funny and overall its just an amazing game. Thirdly you speak as if they're not even going to try improve on previous games, but they're just going to make another oblivion, i agree that the voice acting could be better, so could the combat and the animations but they're OBVIOUSLY going to improve on that..

@alpha_unit97 Did you watch the same video as I did? First off, my PlayStation 2 has better graphics than this game, absolutely embarrassing. Second, the Elder Scrolls games are simply boring. Poor game mechanics, terrible voice acting, lousy graphics, and weak story telling. To reiterate, another poor Bethesda game.

@Lajinn5 In this case the size matters dude not the format

  • ninoni

    Posted May 8, 2011 12:40 pm PT

@Lajinn5 totally agree with you with giants and other high level creatures @alpha_unit97 good to hear that , it would also be cool if they put some stuff from the thief:deadly shadows like climbing on walls and water arrows that put the lights off. Garret is the real mix of thiefs and dark brotherhood from oblivion with many cool skills and weapons for the game from 2004.

  • alpha_unit97

    Posted May 6, 2011 7:17 pm PT

@ninoni i agree with you completely, i dont want my character on the side of the screen either, i want to be able to see him in his full glory from head to toe... and they improved the bow and arrow so that it does alot more damage but arrows will be alot more scarce.

  • Lajinn5

    Posted May 6, 2011 1:30 pm PT

@ninoni well i think it should depend on your enemy, because say its a giant, its gonna take more than one measly arrow in the face to kill it
