JLS and Olly Murs fans have voiced their outrage after a traffic pile-up prevented them from seeing the X Factor stars in concert.
Gridlocks formed on the roads outside the Matterley Bowl in Hampshire after the sole path into the rural venue quickly became congested, forcing visitors to miss significant chunks of Friday's gig.
Local residents told the BBC that some concert-goers were stranded in their cars for as long as four hours, while others were left with no choice but to leave early in order to avoid a repeat of the drama.
Dorset resident Suzanne Close, who took four-and-a-half hours to make a 40-mile journey to the concert, blasted the "appalling transport organisation" and told the corporation: "We had missed much of the concert and had to deal with tired, agitated children who felt the whole day had been ruined.
"The transport infrastructure was a shambles, the organisation a disgrace," she added.
After hearing of the chaos, Marvin Humes of JLS posted on the band's Twitter profile: "To everyone who had trouble getting out of the Winchester gig we want to thank you again for supporting through the rain. We love you."
Matterley Bowl's owner Peveril Bruce said that he was "extremely sorry about the traffic issues", but blamed organisers Sound Festivals UK and Coz We Can Ltd for the situation. Neither company has yet commented on the issue.
JLS and Olly Murs will continue their joint summer tour tonight at Lydiard Park in Swindon. Both acts are to perform at T4 On The Beach in Weston-super-Mare on July 10.
