On November 3rd, Star Wars: The Clone Wars The Complete Season One comes out on DVD and Blu-ray, giving you a chance to revisit the first 22 episodes of the series in unparalleled depth and clarity (see the original announcement here). Here's a tour of some of the content you'll find inside -- but this list is by no means exhaustive. The galaxy of The Clone Wars is full of surprises, and both standard definition DVD and high definition Blu-ray sets offers hours of exploration!

A Note About Aspect Ratios
These sets are the only place to see The Clone Wars in the full widescreen aspect ratio the television show is produced in. While the network broadcasts are presented in widescreen rectangular format, these versions are even wider, like the Star Wars movies, with more imagery stretching beyond the edges of the frame. "Dooku Captured" (Blu-ray Disc 2; DVD Disc 3)
During their own attempt to kidnap Count Dooku, Anakin and Obi-Wan discover that the Sith Lord has already been captured by pirates.

"The Gungan General" (Blu-ray Disc 2; DVD Disc 3)
While negotiating Count Dooku's ransom, Anakin and Obi-Wan are taken prisoner. The Jedi and Sith form an unlikely alliance in a bid to escape, with Jar Jar Binks as their only hope.

When Anakin is gravely injured in battle, Jedi General Aayla Secura must teach Ahsoka the Jedi philosophy of having no personal attachments.

A pacifist village must choose a side in the Republic-Separatist war.

Anakin and Obi-Wan find themselves in the middle of a territorial war.

During the assault on Christophsis, Anakin and Obi-Wan discover evidence of a traitor in their ranks.
