I was looking forward to this about 10 year ago but couldn't give a hoot now! lol wish they'd make another "Time to Kill" style Duke.

I've just pre-purchased it on Steam (i know it's slightly cheaper elsewhere, but Steam just makes it so easy). I know it'll probably end up being crap by today's games standards, but as a fun curio i think it'll be worth the money. After 14 years in development i think we all feel obligated to at least try it and see what they've been doing!

I got my first access club demo email too, although I only managed a quick glance before heading out. Is the demo actually available for the first access folk now, or are we still a bit away? And can anyone tell me the new release date for the game? Net on my phone is crappy, can just about manage to navigate DS.

I quite like 'brains at the door' shooters (just had a laugh playing Bulletstorm!) and I may get this to fill in 'til ID's RAGE arrives at the end of the year.

The demo is ok. Not great, not terrible, just ok.
So basically, the game might be worth picking up once it gets cheap. Not worth a full price anyway. |

Not good, so ta for the First Access because I've cancelled the pre-order based on that demo.

The demo was basically what i thought it would be like. Enjoyably daft and old school. I quite liked it, it's very short though considering it was 1.7gb (PC).

Cheers for the replies. I'll get my code and download the demo tomorrow. I'm not expecting it to be much cop, but hopefully there's at least a bit of humour in it.

The demo is basically just what we've seen in the videos from around a year ago. The football pitch boss fight and then a bit of driving. To be honest, the demo wasn't that funny (probably because i'd already seen it in video form last year), but i have faith that the full game will be better.
