Well they are both very different games. If you're looking for a lot of action, go for Mortal Kombat, but if you've never played Portal and don't mind swapping the gore-fest for just being really entertained by fantastic writing and genius level design you have to get Portal 2 asap, I guarantee you, you will find something to like if you give it a try.

Yeah, I've seen tons of people breeze through it and others stop to think before acting and others take forever because they were never actually thinking about it. It only comes to trial and error if you don't actually stop and think.

Ah GLADoS... dear antagonist. She's not exactly a villain, but I definitely recognize her as one of the best game villains. And beyond gaming.
This is one of those few games that I watch the review merely out of curiosity. Not like I'm undecided whether to play it or not - the nonsense! Playing it, most definitely.
Aperture... Redundant? Notice how they barely talk about the amazing set-pieces or mind-blowing gel graphics? Yeah, apperently you won't find many good looking moments in this game, HA! Thats great GT.

Valve, keep at it. Keep gaming true.
