For some reason I always feel real defensive when people talk about Assassin's Creed. It seems like all anyone ever talks about are its flaws, but I think this is because it's still such a unique and exciting experience that the flaws just become all the more glaring. That sounds a bit fanboyish, I know, but I can't stand the idea of people not getting the game because all they hear about are its problems. It is a great game, and they are not kidding when they say that if you've managed to avoid the first two, you will lose your shit playing this one.

PS That situation that Shane described in the multiplayer with the target on the bench just sounded exciting to me. At that point it's the more patient player that wins, because people will often freak out and break character if you stare at them long enough. Patience like that may seem like a lot to ask for, but it's worth it to get the most out of one of the freshest multiplayer experiences out there.
