Now see theres a limit to that, you cant just say no because sooner or later your going to learn that this is society. My parents didnt stop me in the 90's from watching and playing the worst of all game, i playing GTA Vice City in 6th grade. But what my parents did was teach me the difference of reality and fiction and also values that come with it. You cant just say no, you have to let them take in a bit but teach them the reasons why its bad.

Videogames don't make someone kill. that's as bad as saying snoop dogg made me shoot a cop. how about some personal accountiblity on the part of consumers? I have 3 kids at home, if I play a game that depicts violence, outside of a toy story romp-a-round, they won't be playing that game. period. If you, as a parent in the 21st century, won't take the time to screen what your kid is watching or what kind of media intake they are subject too then the actions your kid performs are, simply, purely, and undoubtedly your fault. our generation's desensitivity to violence should be a marker to all parents. A marker that says "I'm not gonna let my kids watch that"
