All this week Reality Bites is going to be tapping its feet and flexing its limbs in preparation for the So You Think You Can Dance finale on Saturday night. We'll be bringing you interviews with all four finalists, chats with judges Arlene, Nigel and Sisco and we'll be catching up with some old faces from last year's SYTYCD. First up for a Reality Bites Q&A; is Scarborough tap dancer Matt Flint, who will be hoping to walk away with the £50,000 grand prize on Saturday night.

Any injuries to report ahead of the final?
"Last week my back went a little bit so I was struggling a little bit, but it's cleared up now. I'm feeling tired, but like you say, it's the last week, you've got to keep pushing through, haven't you?"

What would winning this show mean to you?
"I said to myself at the start getting to the final was the aim. I know now I'll have danced every dance. But now I'm here, to win would put all the hard work, not just in the competition but from the last ten years, all that working and slogging, would become worthwhile."

What has been your favourite routine from the series?
"I have three or four routines. All my Mandy Moore ones. I really loved the contemporary routine I did with Katie last week as well."

If you don't win, who should?
"If I don't win, I'd like to see either Katie or Luke win. Me and Luke went to college together ten years ago and we used to compete against each other back then and now we're in the same place again ten years down the line. Katie is the most beautiful dancer."

What would your dream role be after the show?
"I want to get into choreography. I've worked in musicals primarily and I'd like to steer away from that if possible and work more commercially as a dancer. I've really enjoyed working on telly. Musicals, you spend six weeks learning and then do the same thing every night. On telly, you spend a short amount of time learning, you do it, then move on. You're always doing new projects. I want to do short exciting projects whether they be choreography or dancing."

If you could dance with any popstar, who would it be?
"Dead or alive? Michael Jackson. He inspired me growing up and the guys dancing in those videos danced like guys. They were really athletic and stylised and they were always really good pop videos. That's the kind of stuff I want to do. Out of the modern day people, maybe Justin Timberlake."

Who are you dance heroes?
"Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly. I used to watch them all the time, learn from them and try to master them. I looked to them for inspiration."

What's the most embarrassing thing that's happened to you on stage?
"I've been knocked out on stage before dressed as a carpet. I was the carpet in Beauty & The Beast on tour and I got knocked out. The only reason I hesitated saying that was because I wasn't really that embarrassed. Being knocked out, I didn't really notice!"

Why should people tune into So You Think You Can Dance on Saturday night?
"There's no other dance show like this on telly. It features professionals, not amateurs or celebrities. It tests the best dancers to do the best choreography and it's so varied as well. It's a great night's entertainment."

So You Think You Can Dance airs on Saturday at 7.15pm on BBC One.
