U.S., Belize Forces Team Up to Help Haiti
Belize Defense Force Pvt. Erasmo Teck, left, and U.S. Army Spc. Eric Kenton, right, dig the foundation for a concrete walkway at a school construction project in Upper Poteau, Haiti, June 3, 2011. Kenton and 57 other U.S. Army Reserve soldiers assigned to the 716th Engineer Company teamed up with Belizean Defense Force engineers in Haiti to help build two medical clinics, a school,and one latrine facility as part of Task Force Bon Voizen, or Good Neighbor. The U.S. Southern Command is sponsoring and U.S. Army South is conducting the joint foreign military humanitarian exercise under the command of the Louisiana National Guard.

U.S. Soldiers and French Citizens Honor D-Day Veterans
World War II veteran U.S. Army paratrooper and medic Robert Wright reacts with emotion before receiving the French Legion of Honor medal on the 67th anniversary of D-Day, in Sainte Mere Eglise, France, June 6, 2011. Wright, along with fellow medic Ken Moore, cared for more than 70 injured Allied and German troops in the Angoville Church before the town was finally liberated. Wright served with the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Division.

First Lady Celebrates Grads on Virginia Marine Base
First Lady Michelle Obama shares a light moment with Michael Hollier, principal of Quantico Middle/High School, as graduation ceremonies get under way on Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., June 3, 2011. The first lady gave the commencement address to the school's 27 graduates, including nine who relocated from Japan after the earthquake and tsunami.
