It would make sense that assassin would, (since it is the Darth Maul build [double blade]) and Sorcerer would not (since it is the Darth Sidious build [one blade]). However, I also do not think it would necessarily be overpowered if Sorcerers had double bladed light sabers. As usual, it always ultimately comes down to gear, level, and how you spec. your character. |

Well we really don't know that stats of any saber. Who's to say a single lightsaber can't do as much damage as a double-bladed or 2 lightsabers? with a level requirement for each lightsaber, the superiority of any type of saber is diminished. Also, it hasn't been confirmed that Advanced classes are restricted to the use of one type of lightsaber yet. For all we know, they could just be putting the different types of lightsabers on the AC's in the videos to give us a preview of what they look like in action. Not to get your hopes down, but I doubt they're just doing it for show -point is, we don't really know anything 100% yet. |

Dare I say it, if SWTOR isn't able to compete with the Juggernaut that is WoW, who will? Looking back at all other MMO's, I can't think of any that had reputable developers. Mythic Entertainment, Cryptic Studios, Trion Worlds, Jagex, Funcom, NCsoft -How many of these names did you recognize before they released an MMO? Really the only MMO's I'm aware of that had popular developers are based off comic books (Dc & Marvel), even then, they hadn't nearly enough experience in creating games with immersive and reputable RPG's. Of course I won't forget to mention that Lucas Arts also produced an MMO, but they did that on their own. SWTOR is a dual project between two of the most successful game designers I know. Even the budgets of the other developers is small compared to the costs BW and LucasArts have put into their game. I'm not betting money that SWTOR will trump the number of subscribers WoW has, but if any MMO is going to be worthy of challenging WoWs success wouldn't it be this? |

Don't forget sw fans. Those guys can prity much support the game fine. Add some guys that spend their time *****ing their pants by day dreaming about an awesome SCI-FI mmo, than i am pretty much sure BW and lucas will get their moneys worth. |

Oh I'm pretty sure they'll make all that back in their first year. If WoW has 11 Million subscribers, then it wouldn't be too foolish to assume SWTOR would get at least 1 Million. And if they stick with the stereotypical $15 a month, they'll make back $80 Million easy with that many players. |

To break even with just the production costs, assuming 80 million, they'd need just under 540,000 subscriptions solid in the first month. Not including obvious money it takes to power servers/etc. I think they can do that and thensome. |

Crush is a bit of an overstatement. I doubt SWTOR will generate half the money WoW did in it's first year. My hopes are that it becomes as equally as popular as WoW. If the public can start saying SWTOR and WoW are the two biggest MMO's out there, well that's good enough for me. |

My god, Inquisitor was my first choice years ago when the game was announced, but now my even more set, Sorcerer is a must for me. I grew up loving Palpatine, not Vader the traitor (emo tin can *****). Ever since 83 when Return of the Jedi came out loved the class, the lightning....the beautiful lightning!!! |

I agree with that, and also if they release it in the summer people will be much happier, although the promise of Spring wasn't kept but still it's summer which is only a 2 month delay, than December which will be another six months. |

I guess it will be in August because they will make loads of profit from people playing it over the summer. That's my guess anyway. |

it means august to december. mind you EA doesnt generally publish 2 games at the same time, and november they are publishing battle field 3. i say expect the game late august to september maybe october and the latest if a delay december. |

does it mean anytime in Fall and Winter ? Cuz like I thought since there are 4 seasons in a year, 'half' meant Fall and Winter. So that definatley means it can be anytime during between June and December of this year then right?! Just double checking, can't blame a guy who's been waiting for 5 years! :D |

Thank you, and yes it lags too much. The Old Republic is the best: best graphics, best combat, best story, best everything! Guild Wars 2 is NOTHING compared to this game, so all of you GW2 fannies can go and play the game so you can leave us at peace, while we enjoy the best game ever! |

Well it makes sense considering Darth Maul played the role of an Assassin in Episode I, and the Sorcerer class is supposed to revolve around characters like Palpatine. |

the dates gamestop has are not 100% they are based off of the time window given for release and then pushed forward a bit. The time window given for swtor is between july and the end of december of this year, that's why its listed at a few weeks past the window. Also mostly so gamestop doesnt get burned when time frames arent reached. :D |
