Kyle Walker

Kyle joined Yorkshire club Sheffield United as an eight-year-old and progressed through the ranks until joining Tottenham Hotspur in July 2009.

Five months prior to his move to north London, the 5’10” full-back made his debut for England’s U19s, against Spain, and was heavily involved in the side that went on to reach the Final of the UEFA U19 European Championship that summer.

Upon signing for Spurs, he was loaned back to the Blades and made 28 appearances before being recalled to White Hart Lane in February 2010.

The recall coincided with Kyle’s step-up into the Under-21s, playing the full 90 minutes of England’s 2-1 defeat to Greece in a European Championship Qualifier.

In the 2010-11 season, impressive displays first on loan at QPR, then at Aston Villa earned Walker a call up to the England Senior team.
