I was thinking exactly the same thing; the monsters look similar and even the protagonist looks like a mix of Goku and Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star.

This game keeps getting better and better, interest has grown on me, now I'm really looking forward for a west realease. It's Atlus, so it's more than possible

From what I see humanity hasn't dissapeared for a long time; everything looks tidy enough, no grass, no plants... I wish the city was really taken by plants. But I want to play this no matter what!

Anyway I'm surprised in a good way, this game looks pretty good, and the graphics are beautifu. Every single time I see a new scan of a yet-to-come 3DS game I see that it's graphical potential is far from what I originally thought it would be.

I'm a tales fan and I don't know if I'll ever take Xillia, even if it comes to the west. I don't specially like any of the characters: the desings seem plain and uninteresting to me, and their tiny little back-stories that we have are pretty boring too.
I think that maybe it's time to change the formule a bit, maybe trying a new character designer and making an actual campaign would help.

This looks very good, I don't know about Square Enix policy for smartphone games, but I sure hope that this will be localized.

I really love the art of the game, looks a bit like Nausicaa and that makes it even more awesome.

If I remember correctly they followed a similar tactic for the Wii, with very restrincted shipments, and it worked.
I know a game is not a console, but I believe that they are not doing this mindlessly.

I'm just guessing but I think that Izana will be the major woobie of the game and I'm gonna suffer with him. I always cry when I play war games with an actual plot, always, it's mechanic.

3DS is not doing that great, I guess this is Nintendo's response to that: Pokemon always sales and it's a good way to maintain the console living while new important titles come.

Honestly, I don't like it. Too many gratuitous effects that make the video look anything but professional. To me it looks more like an AMV, and the song doesn't save it.
