    Pretty spot on review. I have to disagree with his gripe about the gold unlocking things in the crucible; You dont need to go through the game multiple times for gold, collectibles maybe, but not gold. Simply make a 1 room high gold yield room in the crucible. I maxed out the 190k in a couple hours.

    @Krelian-co if you were listening he says that the little things are what is screwing the game up

    Looks like the devs didnt have enough money to throw at gamespot for a good review score : /

    Also i really dont understand how some people are stupid enough to not know the difference between Developer and Publisher...All the people saying Skyrim will suck because this isnt amazing, maybe you should google the two words? Or find a dictionary?

    I like Kevin's reviews. He does a good job of showing the pros and cons of any game.

    Kevin is one of the best reviewer on the net. this is another great review pointing out all the flaws in this ameteurish game.

    Kevin VanOrd you are my hero! Your words are so scrumptious, I just want to eat them. I'd fallow you to the gallows, if you'd word our reasons for going there in an alluring manner. Which you will, of course. All these kids are firing pointless arrows at you. Their ill-guided frustration, in no way changes my thoughts on your wonderful reviews. You are KING! You guys are guilty of shooting the messenger.

    I strongly recommend you redbox this game before you buy it. My best buddy and I played this and we are pretty forgiving with coop gameplay.(we loved the Army of Two games) We kept looking at each other saying wtf? Is this even HD? I love coop games but this is just aggravating. Kevin is right on the money with this review. Split screen on a 60inch plasma just looks like it really doesn't belong in this era of great looking games. It makes you angry because it makes you wonder if this was even beta tested. If so, who did?

    does this reviewer have any vendetta against this game? the game is great but he just keeps picking the smaller of details to excuse the poor review of the game and he keeps going on and on, the game is not a 10 but nowhere near a 5 either, this reviewer as with witcher 2 makes me think is biased

  • Sanguis_Malus

    I had wanted this game to turn out well but even other reviews are not favourable. Although this review is pretty low.

    I still want to play this, the team who made it are not that big. Everyone is acting like Bethesda helped with this. Only the funding. How are game series supposed to get big if no one buys them? Anyone remember even Elder Scrolls III? Sorry, but there were heaps of bugs and problems in that game.

    @meicell @metaltorn
    I've reported your posts as offensive, and they had better get removed if there's any justice! I've had to repost 3 times recently just for pointing out he's gay and that he let his sexuality subjectivise his Bulletstorm review.

    Lol, with Brink, Wet, and now Hunted, "Bethesda" is fast becoming synonymous with "new IPs which are buggy and crap"

  • senator990

    Posted Jun 6, 2011 12:12 am PT

    Hey Bethesda! I strongly suggest you to just publish your The Elder Scrolls series and don't think about such foolish games! That's better.

    I am trading this game in for FEAR 3 as soon as it comes out. This game is terrible. I cant believe I let the gamespot clerk tricking me into buying this garbage.

    i should have known better. not offering a demo like most. to me a playable demo means confidence in your product. i blindly pre-ordered and i got what i got. Mercenaries 2 got a bad rating as well but i enjoyed it a alot more.for people looking for a decent dungeon crawler i'd say save your cash and wait for diablo 3 or dungeon siege 3

    @Sully0227

    This game is not made by Bethesda, its just published by them. The only games made this gen by Bethesda is Oblivion and Fallout 3 (no not New Vegas) so Skyrim is in good hands, considering both those games are on top of RPG:s for this gen.

  • Sully0227

    This game is alot of fun. Haven't tried co-op yet, but the single player is good. This is developed by Bethesda, so I'm kinda wondering about how "Skyrim" will stand up. I agree with some of what Kevin said, but it's still fun and has ALOT of potential that could definitely be corrected in a sequel. It feels alot like "Gears of War" too, which isn't bad either in my opinion.

    @Anigmar He probably docked Fallout NV only to a 7.5 because its Fallout were talking about here! I don't think the bugs in it were gamebreaking but idk since I haven't played it yet. I haven't played DAO2 and I probably won't as I thought the graphics were pathetic in the demo and I wasn't interested in the story.

    So out of the three games being hyped by Gamespot at the beginning of the year: Bulletstorm, Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, and Hunted: The Demon's Forge; Hunted is the one that is crap.

    I was hoping for Brink, Daggerdale and this... 6.0, 4.5, and 5.0, in order. ARE YOU SERIOUS, DEVS?
    i think i will not base my opinions in reviews, never again. >: /

  • VegetaMaelstrom

    Posted Jun 5, 2011 11:33 am PT

    "Why is everyone acting like this is Bethesda's fault? The just published the game, they didn't develop it. Same with Brink and New Vegas."

    Maybe because Bethesda is the publisher and has the final say of when the game is ready to ship and in all of the examples you have given, the games were certainly NOT ready to be sold for full price in the shoddy state that they were clearly in. If you don't hold Bethesda accountable for that undeniable fact then they will continue to do so over and over again.

    I love how close to the end they show the girl fighting an enemy that turns around and swings at the air instead of her

  • Rocker6

    Posted Jun 5, 2011 8:58 am PT

    @Giga_Surfer
    Yes,they release bugged games,like Fallout 3 and New Vegas,but those are great at their core,and have good gameplay,and are memorable.This piece of crap simply isnt,even if all bugs very fixed,game would still suck,because of broken gameplay and horrible graphics.

  • RobbySpry

    Posted Jun 5, 2011 8:26 am PT

    After a bunch of major patches this might turn into a niner and i'd rather enjoy a fixed game later than a broken game now. By then the price will have gone down too.

    @Balck_soul
    I completely agree with you on the score of 7.5

    I have just begone on chapter 5 in the game, and played both as singleplayer and splitscreen co-op with my brother. Both alone and co-op ive had lots of fun. Yes the game has come issues but comeon, so what if you have to press a button to pick up money? Does that thing really matter that much? Not to me:-)

    Bethesda Softworks just din't give gamespot to get a good rating :p

    No but seriously, everyone can see this game at least deserves a 7/10.
