    Peter, Peter, Peter. Can we please lay this tired console port series to rest and fire up some of that gray matter for some more Bullfrog-esque titles? This is cute and all, but I'm craving that sheer genius of yesteryear and I'm just not seeing it anymore.

    Fable 3 is better than a 7 or 7.5, it's not as good as 2 but it's still a fun game that doesn't take itself to serious

    from the written review "If you had the option to just "repair all," it would have made things less tedious" dear gamespot, you can repair all, on the map put your mouse over the ground and press "5"

    @Payne121 Normally I would agree with you, in fact, I kind of do to an extent, but there were really only three types of games that consoles ever had a hope of matching PCs with, that's racing games, sports games, and third person action/survival/adventure games.
    Yes the game sucked before, but that still doesn't explain why the inferior version got the higher score.

    I was thinking of getting Fable 3 game but after watching this i' ll stick with The Whitcher 2.

    @eagles_band CD Projekt embarrseses Bioware even more. Showing how you still make a great and deep RPG with realtime combat without sacrificing everything that makes a RPG.

    Fable 3 was god-awful, it was actually okay and had a few interesting innovations up to the "road to rule" then it plummeted to rock-bottom nothingness. It lacked sooooo much on its promises that i have given up on fable 3 completely. Man, they screwed up.

    This is one hella ugly looking game. The sad part is that you need fast PC to be able to run it. That is weird cos game looks way outdated.

    Standards change. This is essentially a straight port, even if controls and such have been tuned for the PC platform and technical bugs have been fixed. It might as well had been what the console versions should have been when they first came out.

    The PC version offers nothing truly new over the console versions. It also brings over, whole-sale, the game designs from the console versions - game designs that didn't exactly please everyone, namely Tom McShea and those who think alike about this game.

    IGN and GameSpot gave the game a lower score than the Xbox-360 counterpart...even though they said it was pretty much better.

    Good god, I am SO confused.

    I love Fable, it's one of my favorite RPGs. It's just one of those games that you can't help but enjoy playing. I'll be picking this up soon Also... I always play the good guy in games, so that won't be a problem for me ^.^

    One could argue that the standards for PC rpg's is higher among PC gamers. The game is improved, but it doesn't change the fact that it sucked before. I'll play The Witcher if I want an RPG, not Molyneux's next installment in over simplified dross.

    When Fable 3 came out on the xbox 360, I liked it but thought it needed a few more months in development for additional content and general tweaking. So why is the PC version (essentially) exactly the same after this much time or why did it take so long to come out if there's so little change?

    The game is way too simple and the combat is shallow, the choices are very limited and there isn't much difference between enemies. death has no negative penalty other then a scar and a small exp loss which isn't enough to affect a player.

    the first one (plus lost chapters) is still the best one and i expect the 4th one to be even MORE simple and restricted.

    @Incetardis It's your opinion, not a fact. Have you played The Witcher? It's the best game ever when it comes to make choices and seeing the consequences of your actions imo. Fable is more of a fun/humor rpg while The Witcher is a realistic rpg in a dark and wicked world. Both are RPGs but they're each in a league of its own.

    i love this game ... but a super glitch made me hate this a little bit,as my hero went to the sky ..... this happend on the xbox 360 version .....

    Really why can't Lionhead follow the Lost chapters formula? I mean the first Fable is still the best by far...
