Frosh Minaya wins it for Bowne, 7-6

Bowne's Angelo Minaya went through an emotional firestorm in Thursday's PSAL "B" baseball quarterfinals against No. 21 Bronx Science. First, the pitcher was knocked out of the game in the top of the second inning after falling behind by five runs. Then Bronx Science challenged Minaya by intentionally walking the batter in front of him - Jordy Acosta, who had homered earlier - to load the bases in the bottom of the seventh.
