Kyle Naughton, England

Kyle Naughton

Kyle can play at right-back or on the right side of midfield and joined Tottenham Hotspur from Sheffield United in July 2009.

He didn’t appear in the League in his first two seasons with the Blades and was loaned out to Gretna. He broke into the first team in 2008-09 and after just eleven League games won his first England Under-21 cap as a substitute for Martin Cranie in the friendly against Czech Republic at Bramall Lane on 18 November 2008.

He made a further substitute appearance in the next fixture against Ecuador and became a regular performer for the Under-21s in the first half of 2009-10. He also saw plenty of first-team action for Spurs, usually coming on from the bench.
