Chelsea Community Football Club is the official pan-disability football club of Chelsea Football Club. At present we run 10 football teams, providing football for all impairment groups, male and female, from the age of seven upwards. The Limbless Association's Football+ project also delivers coaching sessions to several schools and community schemes in London and the South East, and coordinates a national amputee football programme.

Football+ is a partnership between the Limbless Association and Chelsea FC's Football In The Community department and aims to increase local playing opportunities for people with disabilities, establish a competitive structure, create performance pathways to excellence and raise the profile and awareness of football for people with disabilities.

The programme focuses on enabling young adults with a range of learning difficulties and/or disabilities to participate in organised coaching and fun footballing activities, in a safe, caring and enjoyable environment designed to maximise players' abilities. The scheme offers a vibrant 'football for all' educational and social programme supporting local special schools and colleges during and after school time, as well as running weekend football fun festivals and a coaching programme for players interested in further developing their health, independence and footballing skills. Football+ also runs a summer holiday programme for young players in and around Surrey. All coaches involved in the project are FA qualified, first aid trained and experienced in dealing with players who have a range of disabilities.

Football+ currently runs competitive male teams at junior, youth and adult level with several players recently progressing to represent international disability squads. Chelsea is also developing specialist coaching and facilities for amputee, wheelchair, deaf and partially sighted players. All these teams are an integrated and valued part of Chelsea's Football in the Community Scheme with games and training based in south west London, Brooklands College (Weybridge) and Chelsea's Cobham training facility in Surrey.
