Former North Queensland rugby league player Sam Faust dies of leukemia
TOWNSVILLE, Australia - The North Queensland Cowboys say Sam Faust, who played 24 matches for the National Rugby League team in 2007-08, has died of leukemia.
The Cowboys said Faust, a 26-year-old father of three, died early Monday after a two-year fight with acute myeloid leukemia that was diagnosed in 2009.
