When You Ride Alone

Halo: Reach Poster

Breakpoint and Tempest—two of the new maps included in the just released Noble Map Pack—are both beautiful environments perfect for some crazy vehicular maneuvers. You can probably even get some Wheelman action on Anchor 9 if you so desire. JaYn0, a Halo fanatic that enjoys dabbling in digital art, would like you to keep one thing in mind however. As his propaganda-style poster so eloquently points out, "When you ride alone, you ride with the other team." I would have said, "Quit driving off without a gunner, ya jerkity jerk!" but clearly JaYn0 is a bit nicer than I am. I have a feeling you already knew that, though.

Some people have an extremely high skill set when it comes to playing Halo. Others find themselves lacking when facing opponents on the virtual battlefield. While I reside in the lattermost group, Chimp finds himself in the former, which his first Halo: Reach montage so clearly demonstrates. Featuring more multikills and no scopes than any single person has a right to claim, this superbly edited video is more than worth a watch. Push play, and enjoy this short example of dominating gameplay!

Reach Weekly Challenge - 11/29/2010

Vociferous

After last week's brutal marathon of a Challenge, Bungie's not letting up. Check out this week's:

ALL IN A WEEK'S WORK - 7777 cR
Kill 1000 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking this week.

All right, folks. While this probably isn't as difficult as last week's, it's clearly no pushover. If you need help or would like to form a team, dip your toe into our running Weekly Challenge thread:

Hey look, we're back with episode 002 of the 343 Sparkast.

This week we welcomed some fantastic guests that should entertain and educate you all at the same time. In fact, I'm pretty sure listening to this episode counts as a college elective. We kick things off by joining our good friends at Bungie to talk a little bit about the upcoming Noble Map Pack for Halo: Reach. Big thanks to Urk (Eric Osbourne) and Mantis (Derek Carroll) for taking the time to chat.

We follow this up with a quick segment with Vociferous himself, Jeremey Patentaute to talk a little bit more about the awesome that is Anchor 9, Tempest and Breakpoint. If you just can't get enough Noble Map talk our very own bs angel collected all the coverage from around the web in one easy to digest blog post:

MORE PEEKS AT THE HALO: REACH NOBLE MAP PACK

Rooster Teeth's resident bon vivant and king of alliterative names Burnie Burns join Frank and I in the next segment for a fast-paced conversation that just might be the most important podcast segment EVER. We touch on the (not so) hidden history of the founding of Rooster Teeth, sing the praises of GDC and talk about the ever decreasing pressence of comics at San Diego Comic-Con.

Before closing out this Sparkast Jeremy and I hint at an upcoming mail bag segment. To actually make this happen we absolutely need to hear from you. Yes you, the one staring at the display. So be sure to hit us up at the links below and ask amazing questions. Seriously, if they're lame you're only hurting yourself. :)
