Heading into Saturday's clash against the Kochi Tuskers Kerala on the back of just two wins from seven matches in this year's Indian Premier League, captain Virender Sehwag admitted Delhi face a tough tasking in fetching a semi-final berth.

While the Daredevils franchise offered a semblance of consistency across the opening stages of the Twenty20 tournament, they have since fallen to three defeats on the trot, the latest of which came at the hands of Kolkata on Thursday.

For their lack of positive results, Sehwag's men face a do-or-die situation in back-to-back matches against Kochi on Saturday and Monday and are sure to face some stiff competition in a Tuskers franchise determined to lift themselves from the dregs of the 10-team standings into semi-final contention.

While Delhi are firmly rooted to the bottom of the log with a mere four points, Mahela Jayawardene's side languish in eighth spot after just three wins from seven matches.

"It's difficult and the pressure is on us. We now have to win six out of our remaining seven games. We have to pull ourselves together and play really well in the coming games, particularly in the next ones with Kochi," insisted Sehwag.

"Nothing is impossible. We can still back ourselves from here on and if we win two or three games from here on, then it's possible for us but, yes, it's quite difficult."

In racking up 238 and 208 runs respectively, David Warner and Sehwag have been Delhi's top run-scorers of the 2011 by a long shot thus far. The swashbuckling Indian, however, has demanded more of himself with the willow if his side are to progress to the tourney's last four teams.

"I have got only one half-century in the seven games. So, I need to look at my performance too. I'll have to shoulder the responsibility and will need to stay at the wicket for 12 to 15 overs. If I get going it will be difficult for other teams like Kochi to come back," he added.

Whereas Sehwag and Warner's spots at the top of the Delhi knock are secured, the captain hinted at changes through the middle-order. Irfan Pathan and Travis Birt failed at four and five in the order respectively against the Knight Riders, with promotion now in the order for right-hander Venugopal Rao and wicketkeper-batsman Naman Ojha.

"We will probably send Venugopal and Naman up the order in the coming games," concluded Sehwag.
