Brief Job Description
The consultants role is to work with a companys senior executive team to drive the most strategic operational initiatives"implementing innovative solutions, measuring results early and often, and ensuring the desired performance. Consultants are called on to deliver outstanding client results, direct client personnel, prepare work plans, facilitate client teams to implement recommendations, organize and write proposals, and participate in new business development.

Qualifications
Positions require a MBA, PhD, or equivalent post-graduate degree from a top business school. PRTM seeks high-performing individuals with analytical minds and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ideal candidates are self-starters who can manage their time effectively and can educate themselves while contributing to dramatic client performance improvement. PRTM seeks consultants at all levels, with experience working for management consulting firms and/or with significant work experience as outlined in the following segments:

Aerospace and Defense: Experience in aerospace and defense OEMs and suppliers in operations and supply chain, strategic sourcing, marketing and sales, IT management, organization design, and/or new product innovation. Relevant security clearances are a distinct advantage.

Automotive: Experience with automotive OEMs and suppliers in supply chain management, strategic sourcing, manufacturing operations, new product development, IT management, and/or
product/portfolio strategy.

Chemical and Process Industries: Experience in chemicals/materials in supply chain management, strategic sourcing, international logistics and transportation, distribution, and/or supply/demand planning.

Consumer Goods and Retail: Experience in food or packaged goods industries (including sectors such as household goods, personal care, apparel, food and beverage, etc.) in supply chain management, strategic sourcing, international logistics and transportation, distribution, IT management, and/or supply/demand planning.

Electronics: Experience in consumer electronics, computers, electronic equipment, network equipment, semiconductors, or semiconductor equipment industries with functional experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain management, strategic sourcing, supply/demand planning, line management, production management, strategic supply/commodity management, new product introduction, channel management, customer service operations, customer relationship management, product lifecycle management, new product development and/or IT management.

Energy: Experience with utilities and alternative energy companies in strategy, operations and supply chain, organizational design, and/or product and service innovation including energy efficiency, smart grid, electric vehicles, and renewables (eg. solar, wind).

Health Care Services: Experience in health care delivery or health care payer companies, preferably in government agencies (e.g., US, VA, or DoD) or to non-government health care service companies. Extensive experience in business development, strategy, new service development, and/or operations.

Industrial: Experience in industrial sector manufacturers in operations and supply chain, strategic sourcing, marketing and sales, organization design, IT management and/or product innovation.

IT Strategy: Experience in IT strategy development, cost management, organizational design, outsourcing, portfolio planning, infrastructure evaluation and planning, large-scale project management and IT aspects of M&A and divestitures.

Life Sciences: Experience with a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices, or a consulting firm, with practical work experience in supply chain, operations, quality and regulatory management, new product development, planning, and strategy"addressing relevant products such as biologic drugs, vaccines, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices.

Private Equity: Experience in operations, mergers and acquisitions, and/or post-merger integration in a range of industries and/or direct private equity consulting experience.

Software: Experience in one of the two following areas: (1) Software Development and Quality Assurance, with specific experience in applying Agile/Lean development methods, systematic regression, and system verification processes. (2) Software Business Strategy including software as a service, business development, marketing, licensing, pricing, IP management, open source / partner management, and alternative software business models.

Telecommunications: Experience with wireless services, internet content services, satellite services, wireline services and cable services with functional experience in planning and strategy, service supply chain, new product development, network operations, customer service, product management, network engineering, and/or marketing and sales.
