Glass Association 2010 AGM Report

British Glass Foundation Charity

The British Glass Foundation has announced that its charity will be launched on the 24th of November 2010 at Hagley Hall, Hagley, West Midlands at 12:00pm.

The Charity has been set up to secure the future of the glass collections and archives currently held at Broadfield House Glass Museum and Himley Hall.

Veste Coburg and Castle Rosenau Visit (Coburg, Germany)

The Glass Association is currently organising a trip to the central German town of Coburg to view the historic glass collections housed at Veste Coburg Castle (over 3500 pieces) of the Dukes of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha.

Broadfield House Saved!?

After months of persistent campaigning Dudley Council has been forced to scrap plans to close Broadfield House Glass Museum and relocate its collections and archives.
