      • UGA's focus on leadership, the Friday/Saturday structure, and Atlanta location made the program very competitive and supported the work-school-family balance that is required.

They have a very structured program designed for the full-time worker to be able to take on an MBA program and successfully complete it on time. [There was an] excellent staff and highly qualified instructors.

I felt that Terry College of Business eMBA had the exact right mix of classroom and distance study. The international residency was serious learning and the two weeks on campus were great for team building and feeling connected to the college. The level of service provided by the eMBA program was "Nordstrom's" like. I have a number of colleagues and direct reports in MBA programs. By comparison I felt I received a high quality business education with a better work-school-life balance.

The program provided an in-depth study of business concepts and related business theory to the current economic environment [with an] excellent mixture of in-class and distance learning. The interaction between students and faculty was key in my learning experience.

The Terry College of Business offers a convenient class location in Atlanta, organized class structure, easy and welcoming access to instructors, individualized tutoring, team assignments and activities, individualized course work, challenging assignments and testing, and residencies including a trip to Tokyo and Beijing. This learning environment offers a complete, rewarding, and top-notch EMBA experience through The Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia.

UGA was the perfect fit for my schedule. The mix of people from different backgrounds and industries was very helpful, which I have heard was not the case at other Atlanta-area EMBA programs.

The EMBA program at Terry is incredible. The staff goes out of its way to make the student feel like a customer, not a student. The program was also flexible and could be tailored to the individual's interests.

UGA offered an excellent program, however, during the program I met other students in different EMBA programs, and I was interested in more entrepreunial courses and I was interested in the financial prerequiste courses that those programs offered since I came from an Information Technology background. The finance courses were a struggle for me and the university did not offer tutoring sessions. In my current role, I am seeing how valuable the finance courses are.

Because the school was focused on growing the program, I believe they were a little loose with the admissions standards. We had a fairly high attrition rate. In the end, I was satisfied with my cohorts in the program. However, it was a bit of a struggle through the initial stages because of some weaker students.

The UGA EMBA program is clearly designed to facilitate and generate not only learnings from the classroom, but learnings from all the knowledge the students bring to the program.
