mOOnGLaDe can't wait to return to Korea

Andrew 'mOOnGLaDe' Pender and Jae-Ho 'Moon' Jang have both surpassed expectations and battled each other for the title of dark horse in this tournament. Unfortunately for Pender, the South Korean has beaten him to the title as he now prepares to compete in the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship final.

On the other hand, Pender played his third place decider match this morning and was defeated by Hyun-Woo 'Squirtle' Park after making several bad decisions. "I think I should have won but my bad decisions made me lose. I played well, he played well but some of my decisions were questionable and he ended up on top," said the FXOpen player. "It's OK!"

After last night's semi final game, the Australian was visibly disappointed with his performance and everyone in Hall 23 of the CeBIT exhibition was aware of the mistakes he made. However, Pender rejects the idea that his performance in the semi-finals affected the outcome of his final match in the Intel Extreme Masters.

"I felt good today. After last night's rest I felt better and I was focused on this game and played a lot better than I did yesterday," he explained. "[The reason I lost] came down to the decisions I made, trying to be tricky and stuff like that."

With his campaign in the Intel Extreme Masters coming to a close, Pender can enjoy the fact that he surprised so many people and won a reasonable amount of cash. Also, he is looking forward to returning to South Korea and will be hoping to return to the Global Starcraft 2 League (GSL).

"Yes [I will return to South Korea]. I can't wait," he exclaimed. "I'm not entirely sure [if I will play in GSL March] but I will definitely be back in GSL at some point."
