myRevenge crowned IEM Invitational champions

The League of Legends Invitational being held at the Intel Extreme Masters World Championships has concluded with a one-sided battle between myRevenge and the French team Against All Authority. myRevenge, the underdogs of this tournament, were not expected to be in the finals and certainly were not expecting to win the whole competition without losing a single match.

Directly after the winner's ceremony, myRevenge team captain Tim 'WetDream' Buysse told ESFI World's Philip Hubner that "we didn't expect to go six-to-zero...we won everything yesterday and we only had to win the final today. Of course it would have sucked so much to have lost today after winning everything yesterday."

Fortunately for the European squad, they didn't lose the finals today and "[the team] is really excited to win and have been on the mainstage. We are as happy as can be," said Buysse.

Although they have won the first offline League of Legends competition in Europe their team captain states that his team will not be publicising themselves as Europe's best team, citing that it would be "too cocky" to do so after winning one competition.

"[In future] we hope to be as successful as we are now," said the twenty-five year old Belgian."There will be more pressure on the next events as we will be the favorites. I think we can manage if we just play like today and we practice daily as we do."
