Last week, music executive Steven Stoute took out a full-page ad in the New York Times to slam the Grammys for awarding relatively little-known artists such as Arcade Fire. The Montreal band's manager has since responded.

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow to join Coldplay husband Chris Martin on UK charts

Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow looks set to enter the British music charts when the weekly ranking is confirmed, entering a domain normally dominated by husband and Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin.
