WINTER GARDEN, Fla. -- Chris Baryla of Vernon is tied for sixth place at the midway point of the PGA Tour's qualifying school.
 
 
 
Chris Baryla of Vernon shot a course-record 11-under 61 on Thursday to surge into the lead in PGA Tour qualifying school play. After the second of six rounds, Baryla, 28, sits at 10-under 133, one shot ahead of Ben Martin of the U.S.

Dick Zokol, who rose from the junior ranks at Vancouver's Marine Drive Golf Club to become one of this country's top touring pros, was named today as one of two new inductees into the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame.
